How and Why to sell (If you can sell yourself, you can sell air): an introduction


A few people realise is early, and success follows them. More people learns this letter, from experience, and struggles to catch up. Most people never realise and bears a grudge against the whole world, cribs to everyone, and die a bitter death.

The world is not a place where information is free, or choices are always rational. You must provide the relevant information, you must help others make rational choices when it comes to what you have to offer. Your talent, abilities, character is not available for others to see, you must tell. You must sell yourself. All successful people are doing it, or have done at some point. Get the news out. Reach out - be your own salesman, at least until you have a better vehicle.


Selling yourself does not mean prostitution. There is nothing negative about it unless you resort to cheap tactics. 

Those who know how to sell, can sell air. Yes, the air you breathe, that everyone have around them in limitless quantity.

There are few laws of selling. Watch a girl effectively selling air in this video, and try to grasp the laws. I shall give an example:


law 1: you must create scarcity before you can sell. The biggest challenge is selling air is that everyone have air. How does this girl create scarcity? Observe.

law 2: what is your target market? You can’t sell air to everyone. There are people who will buy air if it comes in the right package, with right terminology associated with it. The people who will buy air will also believe there is energy in the air. The girl is not trying to sell to everyone, definitely not to the sceptic, scientific minds. Her attire, her behaviour, what she is saying, everything is tuned to appeal to her niche market. her market can connect to her. :)

There are many other laws of sales that you can pick up from this video. Give it a shot. Learning to sell is a lifelong lesson, and this girl is selling herself as much as she is trying to sell air-filled jars. You can use the lesson for much more productive purposes.
